The Teeter Hang Ups GL9500 Inversion Table is the very latest addition to the Teeter line of the excellent inversion tables. Considered by many and born out in engineering tests to be the best quality inversion tables available. The GL9500 has the easy-reach-handle similar to the Teeter Hang Ups F9000 Inversion Table. The F9000 is an excellent table. The GL9500 has some improvements over the F9000. The GL9500 has the Over-Easy gripping handles and the base is larger diameter steel.

The main advantage of the GL9500 is the state of the art GL Ankle Locking System

The GL9500 has the excellent Gravity Lock ankle locking system. The GL has four advantages over the standard lock. 1. Easy-reach-handle ratchet opens and closes the ankle clamps, eliminating the need to reach to the ankles to secure the foot clamps. 2. Finer locking increments so you can set it to fit more comfortably. The GL cinches down in 1/4 inch increments. The regular locking system has 1/2 inch increments. 3. Gravity Lock aerospace-grade stainless steel parts include a precision cast gravity lock feature as a secondary security mechanism. At around a 30 degree incline the GL locks into position automatically so it is impossible to open until the table is upright. 4. The lock will engage automatically as one angles back.

The Traction Handles are an excellent addition to the GL9500 and make it quite easy to do the very therapeutically beneficial rocking motion. The Teeter Hang Ups GL9500 Inversion Table has the same 300 pound capacity as the other Teeter inversion tables. It also has the same 400% safety margin which means it has been tested without failure to hold more than 1,200 pounds of weight. It also fold ups quickly and easily like the other Teeter tables.

The GL9500 is An Improvement Over The F9000

The Teeter Hang Ups GL9500 Inversion Table is an improvement over the F9000 for at least three reasons. 1. The stand of the F9000 has the regular round tubing at 4 inches in circumference. The GL9500 has a much beefier or heavy duty D shaped steel that measures about 5 inches in circumference. The F9000 is 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The GL9500 is D shaped. Along the backside, or flat end it is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. 2. The lock will engage automatically as one angles back. This means should you for any reason not lock down the ankle locking mechanism it is designed to lock automatically as you angle back. This safety feature is not part of the F9000 ankle locking system. 3. The Gravity Lock on the GL9500 is aerospace-grade stainless steel that include a precision cast gravity lock feature as a secondary security mechanism. At around a 30 degree incline the GL locks into position automatically so it is impossible to open until the table is upright. This additional safety feature is also exclusive to the GL9500, the Power II GL and Power VI GL.

The GL9500 compared to the EP-950 Inversion Table

Both are excellent choices. The GL9500 has a heavier stand, the easy-reach-handle is about 5 inches longer. It is made of steel rather than plastic. Both bed styles are comfortable. The canvas may stretch a bit and need to be washed occassionaly. The GL9500 is approved for clinical use. The EP-950 Inversion Table is not. The foot platform of the EP-950 is adjustable and will work better for a smaller foot.
