Commitment
to Quality
Teeter
Hang Ups has always considered
product quality our Number One Priority. Teeter
Hang Ups is in continuous contact
with a quality assurance engineering firm that inspects
Teeter
Hang Ups products for top
quality. Teeter
Hang Ups has continuously invested
resources to maintain and improve product quality and
integrity, making countless upgrades over the years
to increase user friendliness, structural integrity
and product safety.
Isn't quality the most important thing to consider when
purchasing a piece of equipment from which you will
hang upside down?! If a treadmill breaks, it's annoying.
But if your inversion table breaks, it could hurt you.
Testing at Underwriter's Laboratories
In fact, Teeter Hang Ups voluntarily submitted the F5000
Inversion Table to Underwriter's Laboratories
for evaluation. We are proud to say that the Teeter
Hang Ups F5000 Inversion Table is Classified
as UL 2601-1, Medical Electrical Equipment, part I;
General Requirements for Safety in accordance with Underwriters
Laboratories, Inc. Representative samples of the F5000
have been evaluated by UL and have successfully met
these safety requirements.
UL 2601-1 is a very rigorous specification that tests
a unit in its extreme use positions. At the maximum
height settings, the 300 pound rated load is tested
at the fully inverted position with a 400%
safety factor.
Additionally,
the Power
II Inversion Table is UL Listed under standard
1647, the standard for motor-operated exercise machines.
UL Definitions:
Listing Mark
This is one of the most common UL Marks. If a product
carries this mark, it means UL found that samples of
this product met UL's safety requirements. These requirements
are primarily based on UL's own published Standards
for Safety. This type of mark is seen commonly on appliances
and computer equipment, furnaces and heaters, fuses,
electrical panelboards, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors,
fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems, personal flotation
devices like life jackets and life preservers, bullet
resistant glass, and thousands of other products. The
Power II and VI are UL Listed 1647.
UL Classification Mark
This mark appears on products that UL has also evaluated.
Products carrying this mark have been evaluated for
specific properties, a limited range of hazards, or
suitability for use under limited or special conditions.
Typically, products Classified by UL fall into the general
categories of building materials and industrial equipment.
Examples of types of equipment Classified by UL include
immersion suits, fire doors, protective gear for fire
fighters and industrial trucks. Inversion tables model
F5000, F-7000 and F-9000 UL Classification 2601 Medical
Equipment.
Versatility
Teeter Hang
Ups F5000 & F7000 tables are the only
inversion tables produced designed to be used with the
standard instep lock or with Teeter
Hang Ups
Gravity Boots. Although about 60% - 65% of
people who purchase the F5000 are quite satisfied with
the standard instep lock, about 35-40% at some point
will choose to use Teeter Hang
Ups
Gravity Boots with their inversion table.

Longevity
in the Industry
Teeter Hang Ups has been manufacturing Inversion
products continuously since 1981. The inversion
market has seen its ups and downs, but Teeter
Hang Ups has maintained
a commitment to communicating the benefits of
inversion therapy, and to supplying the world
with safe, effective inversion equipment.
Dozens of inversion table manufactures have come
and gone. It is quite common for people who have
purchased inferior equipment to be looking for
parts only to find out the company that produced
their equipment is no longer in business.
If you purchase the Teeter
Hang Ups F5000,
F7000, DEX or
Power
II and need product support in the
future, it is nice to know Teeter
Hang Ups has been giving
excellent customer care for more than 25 years.
